Terms & License

These terms govern your use of the LIMN website (limnsearch.com) and the LIMN desktop application. LIMN is a product of DIAL LLC (“DIAL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website or the app, you agree to these terms with DIAL.

License grant

When you purchase a LIMN license, DIAL grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the version(s) of LIMN released during your included update period. You may keep using the software indefinitely.

• Solo license: for one individual. Solo may be used for personal projects, freelance work, your own business, and paid client work. It may not be shared with another user.
• Studio license: for teams, studios, agencies, and other businesses. Studio is licensed per seat; each person using LIMN needs a seat. Seats may be reassigned when team members change.

Updates & renewals

Each license includes one year of updates and new models from the date of purchase. After that year, you may continue using the most recent version you received indefinitely. To receive further updates, you may renew for an additional year of updates (Solo: $49/year; Studio: $89/year per seat). Renewal is optional and does not affect your right to keep using the version you already have.

Volume pricing

A 15% discount is applied automatically at checkout when you purchase five or more Studio seats in a single order.

What you may not do

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share your license keys or seats beyond the terms above.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent licensing except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
• Allow more people to use LIMN than your license covers. A Solo license covers one user; a Studio license requires one seat per user.
• Use the software for unlawful purposes.

Your content

LIMN processes your images, video, and the index it builds locally on your machine. You retain all rights to your content. We claim no ownership of, and have no access to, anything LIMN indexes on your device.

Intellectual property

The LIMN software, website, branding, and content are the property of DIAL LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. Third-party AI models you download through LIMN are governed by their own licenses.

Disclaimer of warranties

LIMN is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that search results will be complete or accurate for every query, or that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DIAL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the software or website. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

Refunds

If LIMN does not work as described, contact support@limnsearch.com and we'll work with you on a resolution, including a refund where appropriate.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated revision date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
